Wow, it's been more than a year since I've posted on LJ. I guess I should revive this thing. I guess Jason actually starting a LJ account made me want to post something again. I always liked LJ more than MySpace anyway. MySpace is just a fucking mess I don't know how the hell that site is still around. It has so many ads everywhere and it's so badly coded.

Oh well enough of the mini-rant on MySpace. I just finished watching Running Scared and I must say it was much better than I expected. I was very impressed by Paul Walker he did a very good job. I guess he can actually act outside of The Fast and The Furious! Well if anyone is looking for a good action/thriller I highly recommend it.

Well I havn't updated this thing in about 6 months, since I started working at hell errr.. I mean TAG. :)

I just wanted to make this entry on lack of sleep. I've been training my self to sleep less by the week it seems.. I got it down to about 19 hours a week as of now. I wonder how long before I just spaz out... I should really start fixing my sleeping schedule.

Let's see what can happen when someone doesn't sleep enough..

* As you know if you have ever pulled an all-nighter, missing one night of sleep is not fatal. A person will generally be irritable during the next day and will either slow down (become tired easily) or will be totally wired because of adrenalin.

* If a person misses two nights of sleep, it gets worse. Concentration is difficult, and attention span falls by the wayside. Mistakes increase.

* After three days, a person will start to hallucinate and clear thinking is impossible. With continued wakefulness a person can lose grasp of reality. Rats forced to stay awake continuously will eventually die, proving that sleep is essential.

A person who gets just a few hours of sleep per night can experience many of the same problems over time.

I think I'm starting to lose my grasp of reality right now.. it's 3AM and I'm writing this, any sane person would just go to sleep.. right?

This post is completely useless and I just wanted something random to post, I think I'll save my next update for December. Laters.

I went to apply today for a job and I got it!!!! YAY!

This is going to be interesting.. Erick and I working together...... hmm yeah I wonder how long we will last. >_<

The crappy thing is for first week we have to be there at 8:45!!!!!!! and it's at least a 40 minute drive. hmph... I think I'm going too have a new love for sleep now. ;)

I also have to dress all nice now! Express is going to love me when I get my first paycheck. ;)

So it's officially my birthday yep.. a whole 19 years old! lol

Good job at the show Erick when you told me you were going to throw down, I didn't think you were going too end up flying. It was a very good show the crowd was lame but then again that room was tiny no space to move. I hope next show the bands are a bit more to your style.

Ah yes. I finally got to clean my car after like 2 weeks!!!!!! Damn, oil from when they were working on it was a bit of a pain but came off with a little effort.

On a side note, my car is fixed now yay! it has a new water pump and a new timing belt. It seems that when the water pump went it damaged my timing belt to the point where it was about to snap(I'm sure my engine would not have liked that at all!).

I also fixed my driver side speaker. One of the cables for it got loose. I had to take the door panel off to get to it but it was much easier than I thought it would be since my dad helped me with it.

I have to wash my car but my brother has the car cleaning stuff. :(

A friend sent me this on AIM and I found it really interesting.. it's kinda scary but the thing looks amazing... I wonder if it's really true...

Tonight Erick, Jason and I went to play pool. There were these 3 guys playing on the table next to us, and one of them kept coming over and saying the most random things ever. That guy had WAY WAY WAY WAY to much to drink.. it was already hard enough to understand what he was trying to tell us since he had a crazy accent and at the same time he was slurring. I just felt like telling him WTF ARE YOU TRYING TO TELL ME?!?!

All I understood was big daddy, pigs, and "you know why I act like that? then people don't fuck with me." or something along those lines.. I think he asked me if I wanted to see him break dance and he did some weird arm movement after he asked the question. roflol.

Lesson for the day learned: DO NOT GIVE CRAZY CUBANS ALCOHOL!

I just finished watching Requiem For A Dream, and all I can say is "omfg" that movie is crazy. I can't believe I hadn't seen this movie before. It's up there with Trainspotting.

It's about drug addicts and how their life gets more fucked up as time goes by. The movie is really well done and if you havn't seen it, I strongly recommend it.

*looks at time* it's 5:33 so I guess I'll go get some sleep now. I just wanted to put this up real fast before I went to bed.

Well I just got back from The Alley. It was Jason, Lizzie, Erick and I and I must say that was a pretty crazy show!

The bands playing were.. The Last Universalist, Into The Moat, Forever is Forgotten, Ion Dissonance and Tyranny of Shaw. Into The Moat were awesome really good band, I liked them a lot. The Last Universalist was also good. Forever is Forgotten I don't know, they were alright. Their songs were to long I guess.

Now Ion Dissonance is a different story, they're from Canada. Their drummer is just sick. I think everyone was paying more attention to the drummer than the rest of the band. The thing that I found most interesting about him is how fast he is, he would hit his snare and you wouldn't even see his hand move it would just be a quick blur. They put on a badass show though, their guitarist is nuts and actually moves unlike some other guitarist out there.. cough cough.. ;)

Tyranny of Shaw well what can I say! Their drummer plays in his underwear for crying out loud and can get away with it. Like Ion Dissonance they also put on a badass show. 90% of the people that were at the show went for Tyranny the whole crowd was going insane while they were playing.

It's nice to just watch people go crazy from time to time. I wonder if Ion Dissonance will ever come back down, I would love to see them again.

Well the night started off as a pool night yet, somehow we ended up stealing a wagon wheel... roflol..

Today Erick and I went to Joey's house to set-up his network. I set the router up, set it to pick up IPs automatically from ISP and no problems everything seems to be working great. So, yeah, his main machine is working so it's time to test the wireless part of the router.

I go to Joey's computer and that shit is just kicking it's own ass, I mean really, it will not stay on for longer than 20 seconds. I tried to do a few things but no hope. His installation of Windows is completely fucked. Finally, his sister brings down her laptop that has a wireless NIC and it's working so I was like oh shit COOL!

I go back to Joey's computer and that shit it still kicking it's own ass, so I go back outside and his sisters machine is no longer able to pick up an IP address! WTF OMFG WHAT HAPPEN HERE I TURN AROUND FOR 2 FUCKING SECONDS AND EVERYTHING GOES CRAZY!?!?! I have no patients for shit like this. After like 2 hours of trying to get her laptop to pick up an IP again, I finally gave up I think her NIC fried or something since she kept pulling it out of the laptop and putting it back in.

I mean even if it was a problem with the router configuration her laptop should still have an IP that the machine designates it self. Which is why I think her NIC is dead.

I'm completely confused as to what happen today, shame I don't have a laptop with a wireless NIC to test the network out. =/

What seems to have started off so well ended up being a disaster.
